2019 Pinot Noir - Mariah Vineyard
From the Mendocino Ridge - AKA, the Islands in the Sky™- the Mariah Vineyard sets the standard for this unique appellation. The Mendocino Ridge is the only non-contiguous AVA in California. It is a series of mountain tops between the Anderson Valley and the Pacific Ocean, and the vineyards need to be above 1,200 feet in elevation to qualify.
This unique site, located at 2,300 feet, delivers slow-ripened, balanced fruit which deliver mouthwatering, bright, and complex Pinot Noir out of this world. Each vintage has been better and better as we continue to learn more about this amazing vineyard and the wonderful Dooling family. You can taste their passion in every bottle!
