From Mendocino Ridge AKA Islands in the Sky™- The Mariah Vineyard sets the standard for this unique appellation. Mendocino Ridge is the only non-contiguous AVA. It is a series of mountain tops between Anderson Valley and the Pacific Ocean. The vineyards need to be above 1200 feet in elevation. This unique site, at 2300 feet, delivers slow ripened, balanced fruit which delivers mouthwatering, bright, complex Pinot Noir that is out of this world. Each vintage gets better as we learn more about this amazing vineyard and the wonderful Dooling family. You can taste their passion in ever bottle.
